Tutor.com Receives Platinum Award in 2025 Modern Library Awards from LibraryWorks
As Multiyear Honoree, Company Celebrates Sixth Platinum Win
NEW YORK, January 16, 2025 /— Tutor.com, one of the world’s largest and most innovative online tutoring organizations, is pleased to report that it has received a Platinum Award in LibraryWorks’ eleventh annual Modern Library Awards (MLAs).
The MLAs were created to recognize the top products and services in the library industry. Products and services were submitted in the fall using a simple application, and then were posted on a private site with an enhanced description and attendant materials. These products were batched into small groups and sent to the LibraryWorks database of more than 90,000 librarians at public, K–12, academic, and special libraries. Only customers with experience with these products/services in their facilities were permitted to judge the products/services, a process that resulted in unbiased scores.
Each judge scored the product on a numeric basis from 1–10 on a series of questions regarding functionality, value, customer service, and other categories. As in years past, Tutor.com received the highest possible distinction of Platinum in the 2025 awards program.
One judge commented: “Launching Tutor.com to our county population of over 1.2 million people has been an absolute game changer in terms of removing barriers to quality tutoring for all students of all ages. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to hearing the stories of families impacted by this free service being offered.”
Another judge similarly praised the company, writing: “Our support from Tutor is amazing! They regularly check in with us and promptly respond to our questions and requests. Our users provide positive comments from their sessions and continue to be thrilled that we provide this service.”

- Test-prep resources from The Princeton Review®, along with practice quizzes, worksheets, and other learning tools
